2019新西蘭葡萄酒年度大獎公布獲獎結果

在馬爾堡（Marlborough）舉辦的2019新西蘭葡萄酒年度大獎公布獲獎結果，來自霍克斯灣產區（Hawke's Bay）的西拉葡萄酒贏得了2019年度新西蘭最佳葡萄酒獎項，而“新西蘭年度最佳酒窖獎”同樣被來自霍克斯灣的酒莊收入囊中。

2018年份的新瑪利酒莊（Villa Maria）酒窖精選西拉干紅葡萄酒（Villa Maria Cellar Selection Syrah Hawke’s Bay 2018）贏得了O-I New Zealand年度新西蘭葡萄酒獎項和winejobsonline.com最佳西拉葡萄酒獎。同時，新瑪利酒莊還憑借Reserve Gimblett Gravels Syrah, Hawke’s Bay 2006/2013/2018酒款，收獲了最佳原產地葡萄酒獎項。

大獎評審團主席沃倫·吉布森（Warren Gibson）形容獲獎的葡萄酒：“如今已非常具有吸引力和誘人的香氣。口感鮮美可口，釀造工藝精良。”

新瑪利酒莊首席釀酒師尼克·皮科內（Nick Picone）說：“精選西拉（Syrah）在新瑪利酒莊一直表現出色。我們希望通過這個標簽來捕捉西拉的嚴肅和頑皮的一面。完全成熟的霍克斯灣西拉具有迷人的香氣，應該具有獨特的風味，很難與其他任何東西混淆。色澤深沉，芳香撲鼻，充滿了深色漿果和香料氣息，但質地卻柔滑絲滑。”
